“Phab” stands for PHysically Disabled & ABle Bodied.

• It is a national charity encouraging the integration of people with and without physical disabilities to achieve full inclusion in all aspects of life
• One way it does this is through a nationwide network of Phab Clubs
• It was founded in 1957 resulting from a young disabled man, called Terry Rolfe, saying he wanted “Opportunity and not pity”
• With Lord Snowdon as Patron, Ed Stewart as President and Sir Cliff Richard as one of the Vice Presidents, Phab has provided support services to Club members for over 50 years. 2007 was Phab’s Golden Jubilee Year.
